Privacy

This site is built to collect as little as possible: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies. The only personal data we ever store is an email address you choose to leave on a product waitlist. This page explains that in plain terms.

Who is responsible

Shei Designs is run by Andrew O’Shei, who is the data controller for anything collected here. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

Waitlist emails

When a product isn’t released yet, its page offers a waitlist form. If you submit it, we store your email address, the product you signed up for, and the time you signed up — nothing else. We use it for exactly one thing: sending you one notification when that product launches. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form; you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we’ll delete the entry. We keep addresses until the launch notification is sent or you ask to be removed, and we never share, sell, or use them for a newsletter.

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse (GDPR art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest). We don’t use this data to identify or profile visitors, and we run no analytics on top of it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies — no tracking, no preferences, no third-party embeds that set them. That’s why there’s no cookie banner.

Where data lives

The site is served by Cloudflare (hosting and CDN) and its content — including waitlist entries — is stored with Supabase (managed database). Both act as processors on our behalf. Links to external services (GitHub, video platforms) take you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and take your data elsewhere. Email [email protected] and we’ll act on it promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
