What it does

PlastikWorld builds the world a robot is simulated in. Place the objects and robots that PlastikCAD makes, shape the ground, set the lights and spawn points, and export the scene for Gazebo, MuJoCo or Isaac Sim in each engine's own format, or as one GLB for Blender.

PlastikCAD makes the things; PlastikWorld places them. It's for rapid prototyping on open-source tools (ROS 2, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, Blender): one pipeline instead of five. It runs locally on Linux, Windows and macOS, and nothing leaves your machine.

Terrain, surfaces and parts

Generate terrain from a seed, sculpt it with a brush, or bring in a heightmap image or real elevation data. Mark out surface zones with their own friction. A built-in parts library (walls, rooms, ramps, stairs, roads, barriers, trees, rocks, bridges, crates and shelving) is generated from parameters.

Export and run

Each export is a self-contained folder with a run.sh, and on the desktop the export panel can launch the engine for you. Before exporting, drive a robot around the world in the app with a keyboard, a gamepad or an on-screen stick.
